Directed by Steven Spielberg, this film was a well made coming of age story. The the way it was shot made you feel like it was the 1960s. It is loosely based on Spielberg's upbringing and making it to LA. "Young Sammy Fabelman falls in love with movies after his parents take him to see "The Greatest Show on Earth." Armed with a camera, Sammy starts to make his own films at home, much to the delight of his supportive mother."

This film should be on everyone's radar and is easily accessible on Netflix. This is part of the Knives Out Mystery. It has received great scores which I have to agree with. A classic murder mystery with twists and turns has the viewer on the edge of their seats. I gave the original Knives Out 9.2 which should be a must watch. This film had a great plot and a great cast consisting of Ed Norton, Daniel Craig, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom, Janelle Monáe and a ton of cameos. "Tech billionaire Miles Bron invites his friends for a getaway on his private Greek island. When someone turns up dead, Detective Benoit Blanc is put on the case."

Nothing happens for the first 75% of this movie. Just watched a nanny take care of a girl for most of the film, which felt like a waste of time. The end was shocking but not worth even starting the film. Don't understand how it gained so much recognition from film festivals. "An African woman hopes her new job as a nanny will help bring her young son to the United States. However, when a violent presence begins to invade both her dreams and reality, it threatens to destroy everything she's fought for."

Another The Rock movie that consistently disappoints. I thought the action and effects were entertaining enough to keep me invested. I thought the beginning story was powerful in the opening 10 minutes. However, I wasn't a fan of the characters and it was hard to get through the bad acting. Overall, another DC flop. "In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed, and Black Adam has gone from man to myth to legend. Now free, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone."

Not really sure what I just watched. It is about a long term friendship coming to an end. It was really boring and should be skipped even with its high ratings. "On a remote island off the coast of Ireland, Pádraic is devastated when his buddy Colm suddenly puts an end to their lifelong friendship. With help from his sister and a troubled young islander, Pádraic sets out to repair the damaged relationship by any means necessary. However, as Colm's resolve only strengthens, he soon delivers an ultimatum that leads to shocking consequences."

Just came back from watching this film. Phenomenal! I don't understand how people are disliking this film. I still think the original is a little better based on the storyline but this is everything I could have asked for. The visuals and characters make the audience want to live in Pandora. Worth watching while it is still in theaters. "Jake Sully and Ney'tiri have formed a family and are doing everything to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must fight a difficult war against the humans."

White Tiger is about a young boy who grows up in a poor area in India. His goal is to rise to the top and become a successful entrepreneur. I thought the story was excellent but felt like it was missing something in the film to make it great. It is worth watching on Netflix.

As a huge fan of the original Orphan film in 2009, this was the origin story that gave the background to the character. "After escaping from a psychiatric facility in Estonia, Esther travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family." There are a lot of twists in this movie that kept interest going till the very end.

Mortensen and Ali both give fabulous performances in this feel-good road-trip drama that's part buddy comedy, part history lesson, and part social commentary on friendship and race. I felt the movie was superb given the type of movie is not my favorite when reading the summary about it. The movie completely exceeded my expectations. A Quiet Place starring the married duo John Krasinski and Emily Blunt offers a unique way of displaying a horror/thriller movie. The plot is interesting, based off wild creatures that roam the Earth and cannot see, but hear. The goal for human survival is to be dead silent for the rest of their lives. John Krasinski is excellent in the film and continues to show his mobility in playing different roles than Jim Halpert in the Office. He has played great roles in 13 Hours and the TV show Jack Ryan.

I loved this movie with its mystery and plot twists left and right. The idea of what you think the movie is about going into the movie and coming out of the movie are completely different and a bit shocking. The main role was played by Lakeith Stanfield who did a fantastic job and is on the rise after starring in Childish Gambino's Atlanta on FX. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XthLQZWIshQ
