The Quiet Girl (7.5/10)

This is the highest grossing irish-language film of all time. It was a slow-paced and sad film with great acting. It seemed more like an artpiece than a movie. At times it felt almost playlike. "A nine-year-old girl from a dysfunctional family goes to live with distant relatives for the summer. Living with a middle-aged farm couple, she discovers a new way of living."
