The Holdovers (8.8/10)

This film has been on the top of my list for a while since seeing previews. It is a classic coming of age drama with great acting led by Paul Giamatti. It was well written and brings up a lot of underlying struggles led through three main characters. "A curmudgeonly instructor at a New England prep school remains on campus during Christmas break to babysit a handful of students with nowhere to go. He soon forms an unlikely bond with a brainy but damaged troublemaker, and with the school's head cook, a woman who just lost a son in the Vietnam War."
