This wasn’t as bad as I expected, surprisingly entertaining, though a bit too corny for my taste, and the acting was rough at times. I can see why critics disliked it while the Rotten Tomatoes audience score was so high. Dave Franco’s performance carried the film whenever he was on screen; beyond that, much of it felt pretty cringeworthy to me.
