I really enjoyed the concept and story behind this film. It explores a fascinating perspective on a pivotal moment in history, focusing on an angle that is often overlooked and giving the narrative a unique identity. The performances are strong across the board, helping to ground the film and keep the stakes feeling real. While the subject matter is undeniably compelling, the deliberate pacing makes it a true slow burn. That approach builds anticipation and leaves you wanting more, but it also results in stretches that feel slower than they need to be. It’s an interesting and well-crafted film that rewards patience, even if the measured pace occasionally makes it difficult to stay fully engaged. I found myself both captivated by the story and a little bored at the same time, a strange combination that ultimately made for a solid, thought-provoking watch but always wanting more action.
