This Japanese film has some of the highest ratings you will see out there. It just wasn't for me. I thought the acting was amazing. It just seemed the simplicity of the film which some people find fascinating, I find lacking. "Hirayama feels content with his life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine, he cherishes music on cassette tapes, reads books and takes photos. Through unexpected encounters, he reflects on finding beauty in the world."
