My Dead Friend Zoe (6.6/10)

This had a good messages and themes but by the end of the movie I was not entertained and just felt like I was watching it to finish it. It got incredible reviews, it just didn't appease me. Rotten Tomatoes score of 95% Audience and Critics seemed a bit hight for me. "Merit is a U.S. veteran who's at odds with her family thanks to the presence of Zoe, her dead best friend from the Army. Her cozy yet dysfunctional friendship with Zoe keeps the duo insulated from the world, until her estranged grandfather -- holed up at the family's ancestral lake house -- begins to lose his way and needs the help he refuses."
