This was a tough one to rate. On a technical level, performances, storytelling, and cinematography, it comes very close to a 10/10. There is a clear level of craftsmanship here that is hard to ignore, and it is easy to understand why so many viewers connect with it.

That said, the execution didn’t fully land for me. Despite its strengths, I found myself losing engagement at times and even checking how much runtime was left. The pacing and overall delivery made it feel slower than I expected, which took away from the experience.

This feels like one of those films that audiences either love or don’t connect with at all. I can absolutely see why it resonates so deeply with others, and I respect what it accomplishes. It just didn’t quite click for me in the way I had hoped. "William Shakespeare and his wife, Agnes, celebrate the birth of their son, Hamnet. However, when tragedy strikes and Hamnet dies at a young age, it inspires Shakespeare to write his timeless masterpiece "Hamlet."
