This was a solid crime-romance with a compelling story that keeps you invested from start to finish. The performances are good across the board, but it's the plot that ultimately carries the film. At times, the romance takes up a little too much of the runtime, pulling focus away from the crime elements that make the story so engaging. However, by the end, that relationship proves to be an important part of tying everything together in a satisfying way. Overall, this is an easy, enjoyable watch. While it may not leave a lasting impression or become particularly memorable, it's still a worthwhile film for fans of crime dramas with a romantic twist.
