Candy Man (7.2/10)

This horror film received a good balance from the critics from reading online, however, according to Rotten Tomatoes this was a hit. I thought this film was slightly above average at best. It had a good beginning plot that steered in a different direction that I had planned in my head. The ending was a little confusing and the movie felt like enough didn't happen in the 1 hour 30 min it had. It is about "A chance encounter with an old-timer exposes Anthony to the true story behind Candyman. Anxious to use these macabre details in his studio as fresh grist for paintings, he unknowingly opens a door to a complex past that unravels his own sanity and unleashes a terrifying wave of violence."
