Boyhood (8.4/10)

Such an interesting concept. Somehow I didn't know this movie was filmed over a 12 year span until I noticed it was the same actors just growing up way to quickly. Apparently they filmed for a couple days every year for 12 years. It shows the life of a family through the eyes of a boy whos parents go through divorce, Marriages, constantly moving locations, changing schools, and friends to milestones in their lives. "The joys and pitfalls of growing up are seen through the eyes of a child named Mason (Ellar Coltrane), his parents (Patricia Arquette, Ethan Hawke) and his sister (Lorelei Linklater). Vignettes, filmed with the same cast over the course of 12 years, capture family meals, road trips, birthday parties, graduations and other important milestones."
