Three lives are seen through the lens of social change in NYC. This film is about the aspirations of a mother and step-father for their son and the disinterest of the son to make something of his life because what he wants most is to feel like he belongs. "Unapologetic and free-spirited Inez kidnaps her 6-year-old son, Terry, from the foster care system. They set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity and stability in a rapidly changing New York City."
