  • Greta (6.4/10)

I thought the beginning of the film started off bland but then it kicked in after 20 mins and exceeded my expectations for a movie I knew nothing about. Classic thriller movie for those who like to watch. Not a must watch but something to consider.

  • The Professor (4.3/10)

This comedy-drama wasn't that funny. I felt Johnny Depp did a great job throughout the movie but the character development with the rest of the cast was rough. The plot was interesting and a good idea just not executed well. Would not recommend watching this.

  • Us (8.7/10)

Don't want to spoil anything but the movie met its expectations and has created a new legend, Jordan Peele, who has showed his skills in Us and Get Out. The plot was intense and the movie included genres of thriller, mystery, some humor, and suspense. Highly recommended. From the words of a self proclaimed movie critic, Jack Spiridumbass, "it was electrifying".

  • Annihilation (6.8/10)

Given this movie is sci-fi/fantasy there are different opinions about it. If you aren't into this genre you probably thought the movie was dumb but if you are, like me, then you thought it was worth watching. It had incredible visual effects. Natalie Portman does a great job but the supporting actors were cringe to watch.

  • Alpha (7.3/10)

I don't know why I watched this movie because it seemed childish, which I don't normally watch. It was an interesting movie and the plot was amazing. It is about a boy surviving alone in the wilderness and I'll leave it as that so I don't spoil anything. Not recommended at the top of a list but a quality movie.

  • Overlord (6.8/10)

Surprisingly good. I never heard of the movie before watching it but had a bunch of recognizable actors in the film. The concept was was bold and handled very well. If you like a mix of war and Sci-Fi I highly recommend.

  • Murder Mystery (4.1/10)

Waste of Time. If you aren't an avid movie watcher you will think this was garbage.

  • Unsane (7.1/10)

This movie I ranked pretty high for its movie plot. The only problem with the film was that is started off slow and you had to get used to the odd camera angles. It is for sure a horror in a sense that it could happen to you in real life but there was more drama in this movie. The acting was above average. I recommend it and if you like thriller/horror it's a good watch.

  • Night School (2.9/10)

Not even worth writing anything. Wack!

  • Bad Times at the El Royale (7/10)

I gave the movie a flat 7 for its incredible usage of storytelling by each of the characters but lacked some key information you want to get out of the movie in the end. The known actors, Jeff Bridges and John Hamm did a great job while Chris Hemsworth had an average performance. The movie itself was full of mysteries where most were discovered throughout, keeping the audience watching for more.

  • Blindspotting (7.6/10)

Blindspotting is about a man who needs to get through 3 more days of probation until he starts a new beginning. It is a drama that has comedic features and also has rapping as part of conversations, which is a cool spin on a movie. I enjoyed it, tis' recommended.

  • A Vigilante (6.7/10)

Solid film that brought up issues in our world today about domestic violence. It did not seem like a movie until the second half and felt more like a powerful message to get the viewer emotional. The movie was upsetting but also had the audience wanting more. There was a decent amount of action and Olvia Wilde did a great job.
