  • The Meg (4.7/10)

The Meg is a great movie if you want to laugh at how absurdly bad the acting was and how many close calls there were for Jason Statham. It did not help that Rain Wilson was in the film, also known as Dwight Shrute from the Office, so it was hard to take him seriously.

  • The Commuter (5.9/10)

This is the most classic Liam Neeson movie you will watch and already know what will happen in the end because, come on now, he's Liam Neeson. The movie was interesting and the plot was intense but it was too similar to the movie he already starred in called Non-Stop, which had a similar premise but on an airplane.

  • Bumblebee (6.1/10)

Being a huge fan of the first few Transformers and with rotten tomatoes giving it great scores, I was severely let down by this movie. Having a movie with John Cena already hurts enough and the acting in some parts were terrible. However, the way the movie ties in with the rest of the Transformers worked incredibly well. Nothing can beat Shia LeBouf playing Sam Witwicky in the first few movies.

  • Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (6.2/10)

While the movie had its ups and downs, it was fun to watch and had moments where the viewer felt upset, which was a change of pace compared to the rest of the series. Though it does not compare to the rest of the Jurassic movies, it is a fun family movie to watch on a simple night where you may need something to do.

  • Halloween 2018 (6.1/10)

Exhilarating to watch as most of the Halloween movies are, but seemed a little too much and felt the movie was forced. The suspense in the beginning was much better than the 2nd half of the movie, where I thought the movie dipped. Would watch once because I saw the rest of the movies that were more worthwhile.

  • Solo (5.4/10)

Being a huge Star Wars fan, SOLO was huge disappointment. The movie itself didn't feel like it was Star Wars and the swagger that Captain Solo had in any other movie was absent. If you are a Star Wars fan, I think you probably agree it was a decent movie, but does not compare to the rest of the series.

  • First Man (6.6/10)

When watching this movie, I had to keep checking how much time was left because how slow it was going by. There were many boring moments but Ryan Gosling did a great job portraying Neil Armstrong. The movie gave information about missions and the journey to the Moon that most would not learn about so it was a good history lesson.

  • Game Night (6.7/10)

I thought Game Night was solid. A funny way to spend an evening, but a movie I would never watch again. For the most part it had funny moments, but other times it seemed like cringey acting. Jason Bateman played a different role than normal, playing a not so serious character which seemed odd. Clearly, a one and done type of movie. If you have other options watch something else but if you are in the mood for a couple laughs, this the movie.

  • BirdBox (7.1/10)

BirdBox has gotten mixed reviews but I really enjoyed the film. It was evil and exciting. It had great cast with Sandy B having the lead role and excelling. The plot was something new. Unlike A Quiet Place, BirdBox's plot was you were not able to see vs. not able to speak in A Quiet Place. Both movies reminded me of each other and both are well done.

  • Ant-Man and The Wasp (5.1/10)

ASS. Being a big Marvel fan, I was let down tremendously. I felt the movie was more of a comedy, which is fine, but does not fit well with the other Marvel movies that were released before it. Ant-Man is not my favorite character and I think his superpower is a little dumb and not interesting to watch. I thought the first one was way better than the second. Whenever I watch the Marvel series over again, this may be the one movie I skip besides the Incredible Hulk.

  • Deadpool 2 (7.9/10)

Deadpool 2 is exciting, humorous, and action-packed. The storyline is different from the first Deadpool and in my opinion I thought it was better. It mixed in better with the other marvel films of X-men. One feature I was not a fan of is that this movie came out right after Avengers: Infinity War where Thanos is played by Josh Brolin. So when Josh Brolin plays a character in Deadpool 2, which is also a Marvel movie it seemed odd and his voice kept reminding me of Thanos.

  • SkyScraper (3.3/10)

The Rock is in the running of who can make the most worst movies of all time. It seems he just takes any script he can find and tries to star in 3-5 movies per year. Props to him for the big celebrity that he is and making a ton of movies, but he should choose them wisely instead of making bad films like this one.
