  • The Way Back (6.3/10)

This movie was not good. While the storyline around an alcoholic was important and interesting to watch and see the transformation of a character, the other aspects of the movie were awful. The actual basketball team itself was horrendous and unrealistic for them to win any games. The actors throughout the film did not impress me in the slightest. Overrated film. Too cheesy for me.

  • Richard Jewell (7.6/10)

I really enjoyed this movie. It was very dramatic and illustrated the events that happened on July 27th 1996. Some characters were over-exaggerated, which did receive some backlash, but overall I felt the acting performances besides that were spot on. Worth watching if you want a drama based on a true story.

  • Uncorked (6.9/10)

I saw this movie on netflix and just decided to give it a try. Nothing was particularly special or stood out, just a solid film. However, it was interesting to see the character's development and his passion for becoming a sommelier, which I didn't really know much about.

  • Human Capital (7.4/10)

There was not much to this movie when reading the one line description and saw that it barely had any reviews. It surpassed my expectations and ended up being an enjoyable movie that starts off slow but then comes together. Nothing too crazy about the movie, just a solid film.

  • The Hunt (7.4/10)

This has been on my list since I knew Jordan Peele was directing and producing it. The film had a lot of politics in the lines sometimes clear and sometimes subtle jabs at each side. It was an interesting concept for a movie that is unique and has never been done before but nothing to rave about.

  • Mandy (3.9/10)

Critics on Rotten Tomatoes gave this film a 90%. I don't know how that is possible because the movie is ridiculously bad. It also made me realize why I have not seen Nicholas Cage in a movie since National Treasure in 2004, cause he's wack. I wanted to watch this movie because the sequel got even better reviews but I don't think I can put myself through something similar to what I just watched.

  • Blood on her Name (6.4/10)

Not worth watching. Not terrible and not good but the plot was entertaining enough to keep watching. The acting was sub-par and the movie was really short. Not much to write on it.

  • Jumanji: The Next Level (7.1/10)

Everyone knows I am not a fan of Kevin Hart or The Rock's acting performances but in the Jumanji movies they fit there roles and somehow make the movie better. I enjoyed the first one more but this movie had great animation features and fighting scenes. Worth watching if you have seen the first one and enjoyed it.

  • Spenser Confidential (6.2/10)

Silly movie. Everything about it was cheesy but the action was above par. Mark Wahlberg has been on a streak of poorly made movies recently and needs to show he can still act. Post Malone did a good job in catching the viewers eye to watch the movie but he only had a small role. Not worth watching.

  • Dark Waters (7.8/10)

Inspiring film. I haven't seen Mark Ruffalo in many films besides playing The Hulk but he did a great job. The movie was an intense drama that was emotional and fulfilling at different points. The film being based on true events was an education lesson and shocking information.

  • Queen & Slim (7.6/10)

Powerful and emotional film. The premise is Slim and Queen feel that they have no choice but to go on the run after certain events go down. Daniel Kaluuya from Get Out and Jodie Turner-Smith were both amazing in the movie. The film was executed well in all aspects and was impactful.

  • 21 Bridges (6.8/10)

The action and thrill was unreal in this movie. Very solid performance all around just nothing that special. I figured out the ending of the movie all the way through about halfway through. Chadwick Boseman had a decent performance, not good and not bad. I recommend watching this film if you want some good action scenes.
