  • The Decline (7.3/10)

Good action film. It was short. 1 hour and 23 mins to be exact. The whole movie is in French Canadian so I suggest turning on French Canadian from English and using English subtitles. Otherwise, the film has a voiceover in English and it does not match the talking which is in French Canadian originally. Easy to watch on Netflix.

  • Alita: Battle Angel (7.5/10)

Many people think this movie may be a little childish, which it was, but still very cool to watch. The Sci-Fi elements were some I have never seen before and James Cameron did an amazing job. The movie was futuristic and the story was interesting enough, but it could have been better.

  • The Invisible Man (8.7/10)

The concept of this movie was brilliant and right up my alley. I enjoyed it so much that I recommend seeing it why it is still in theaters. All actors were on point and the sci-fi aspect was interesting to see develop. Elisabeth Moss was awesome to watch. Definitely some pop outs but nothing too scary.

  • The Platform (6.9/10)

This was a gory and dark movie but also one of the most interesting and unique concepts I have seen in a while. The ending was not great and not as expected but worth a look if you can handle the darkness and violence this movie displayed.

  • Vivarium (7.7/10)

This is a psychological thriller that is very unique. I would avoid reading the plot as it gives a lot of the movie away. I rate psychological thrillers usually higher than normal since it is my favorite genre and I happened to enjoy the film a lot. It really depends on how diverse your movie sense is because some opinions may find this movie to be too "weird".

  • The Lodge (6.2/10)

This is not such a terrible score for a horror film. While most of the film was freaky and disturbing and offered a great plot, it was not the direction I thought the movie would have went. It took a little longer for the movie to take off in the second half. Not the best horror film but entertaining enough.

  • All Day and A Night (6.1/10)

This film was about a young man that embarks on a journey of self-discovery after landing in the same prison as his father. Not worth watching on Netflix. A slow movie that didn't execute well.

  • Bloodshot (6.8/10)

I haven't watched many Vin Diesel movies besides the Fast and Furious franchise and he did a solid job in this film. It wasn't too complicated so he fit the role well. The action scenes mixed the sci-fi elements were cool to watch. He plays a marine who gets brought back to life using an advanced technology. The movie got poor rotten tomatoes score from critics but its audience score was pretty high, which I agree with more.

  • Fractured (6.8/10)

I am a huge fan of psychological thrillers so this movie has been on my list for a while. It was about what I had expected with a bunch of twists and not knowing who to trust like a normal psychological thriller. It was alright but not the best. LUCE is a better for a psychological thriller film.

  • Lost Girls (7.4/10)

Lost Girls is a mystery based off of the true story of the Long Island Serial Killer. I had no idea the movie was based on true events until the end but knowing that going into the movie would have made it better. It was a short film so if you are into crime thrillers involving killers, this is a good movie to recommend.

  • The Guilty (7.4/10)

This was a very different movie I thought it was going to be. It was in Danish with subtitles. It was one of the most unique movies I have ever watched. The films purpose was to create a story that the audience had to form in their own head versus shown on the screen. It was almost someone telling you a story that you had to create yourself. It is hard to explain but worth watching for the 90 minutes if you can handle subtitles.

  • Underwater (5.7/10)

Underwater was about a drilling station where the character played by Kristen Stewart is struggling for survival 6 miles deep in the ocean. It was a hard movie to watch as the ocean is pitch black and they were constantly walking on the bottom so the audience could not see anything going on. The ending was okay but this film can be avoided. Not much to be said about the film, it was close to garbage but not quite at that level.
