Awesome movie, better in the theater for sure with the rumblings of an engine. Christian Bale had an elite performance. Movie is based on a true story, which always make a it more enticing to watch. Highly recommended.

Unreal film. So unique and different. Worth all the recognition it has been receiving. I think it is probably the movie of the year in 2019. Worth watching whenever you have the chance.

Riz Ahmed deserves awards for his performance. Amazon Studios executed this film to perfection. It is about a heavy-metal drummer's life after he starts to lose his hearing. The pace of the movie is very slow but worth it for the story.

This movie was directed by Guy Ritchie and is about the marijuana empire in London. The film has a lot of foul language to be wary of and some violence. It was a very well thought out movie with a lot of twists and turns. The beginning is a little hard to get through but it is worth it in the end.

Anthony Mackie stars in a sci-fi/mind bending thriller about a psychedelic and the horrors that lay with it. It was a very intricate and thought out movie that was awesome to see executed. I recommend watching this film. However, if you are not a fan of sci-fi, this movie is not for you.

The Report is a true story about FBI agent, Daniel Jones, performing an exhaustive investigation into the CIA's use of torture on suspected terrorists in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Daniel Jones is played by Adam Driver who has become one of my favorite actors. The movie was slow at times as it explored the legal and political aspects in depth, but was still intriguing.

I am a huge fan of psychological thrillers and of mysteries so the mix between the two made this movie enjoyable. While the cast wasn't anything special, the movie was produced really well. The story itself was grabbing with plot twists all around. I recommend watching this film even if it is dark at times.

I recommend watching this film. Try not to look up too much of what it is about beforehand because it could give away the whole plot. This thriller/suspense movie was disturbing and intense and exceeded my expectations. It had an aspect of a horror film, which kept the story interesting. Sarah Paulson, known for starring in American Horror Story series did a great job in this role. I was still thinking about the story the next day.

Not quite my type of movie (a little too emotional and dramatic for my liking), however, it was a standout film like the rotten tomatoes scores reflected. Receiving a critics score of 95% and an audience score of 96%. "Ruby is the only hearing member of a deaf family from Gloucester, Massachusetts. At 17, she works mornings before school to help her parents and brother keep their fishing business afloat. But in joining her high school's choir club, Ruby finds herself drawn to both her duet partner and her latent passion for singing."

This was one of the more unique movies I have seen in a while. Reminds of Ready Player One. I recommend this to a younger audience like Gen Z and Millennials since it has a lot to do with new technology and gaming. It is about when a bank teller discovers he's actually a background player in an open-world video game, he decides to become the hero of his own story -- one that he can rewrite himself. In a world where there's no limits, he's determined to save the day his way before it's too late, and maybe find a little romance with the coder who conceived him. Ryan Reynolds does a great job and there are a bunch of small cameos as well.

This will be a classic movie for years to come. The amount of cameos from players in the NBA will make this movie last for a long time. Adam Sandler played a role we have never seen him play and excelled. It is about how "a down-on-his-luck basketball scout discovers an extraordinary player abroad, he brings the phenom back without his team's approval." The film shows heart, determination, and a story that resembles many players who try to make it to the NBA and how much of a challenge it can be.

The horrors of modern dating are seen through the eyes of a young woman who is battling to survive her new boyfriend's unusual appetites. I thoroughly enjoyed this film starring Sebastian Stan who showed a different role than what he normally plays such as the Winter Soldier in Marvel. It can be scary to watch if you are not a horror fan but this has more elements of mystery and thriller.
