This movie gave me the feeling that the only reason they filmed this was for a mini vacation for the actors with the places and activities they went to. "While a troubled man goes through a personal crisis, he meets up with his estranged friend in Thailand." Not worth anyones time.

This is a "Belgian psychological thriller in which a new father's investigations into his father's abandoned factory lead to a descent into madness." Absolutely horrible and not worth spending your time on.

Not what I thought I was getting into but for a genre I don't dabble into that often, this film was well made and executed. A very emotional drama starring Brendan Fraser, who did an A+ job. "In a town in Idaho, Charlie, a reclusive and unhealthy English teacher, hides out in his flat and eats his way to death. He is desperate to reconnect with his teenage daughter for a last chance at redemption."

I liked this 3 hour drama more than most people. I really enjoyed the perspective of three different main characters and all their passions for the film industry. I thought it deserved some higher scores. Great cast as well. "Decadence, depravity and outrageous excess lead to the rise and fall of several ambitious dreamers in 1920s Hollywood as the industry begins to transition from silent pictures to the world of sound films."

Rotten tomatoes scored this Drama / Comedy very high. I thought it was well made but not meant for most audiences. At times it was too silly. "An on-the-lam punk rocker and a young woman obsessed with his band unexpectedly fall in love and go on an epic journey together through America's decaying Midwestern suburbs."

Starring Idris Elba and a continuation of the Luther series this was a detective thriller on Netflix. This surpassed my expectations and I thought Idris did a great job. Just your typical detective thriller film. "A serial killer terrorizes London while disgraced detective John Luther sits behind bars. Haunted by his failure to capture the cyber psychopath who now taunts him, Luther decides to break out of prison to finish the job by any means necessary."

This is listed as a Sci-Fi / comedy. There was minimal comedy and barely any Sci-Fi. Mostly a drama. The concept was out of the box and the last 3 minutes of the movie was really good. Besides that, not one to keep on your radar. "After humanity confirms the existence of an afterlife, a research scientist launches a study in which volunteers commit painless suicide to live in the afterlife. Traveling from New York to San Francisco, two strangers share a rental car as they go to end their lives."

A drama showing a coming of age story of a teen that is lost within Sacramento. The story follows "Lady Bird" trying to find her way in regular life. 10/10 acting. "A nurse works tirelessly to keep her family afloat after her husband loses his job. She also maintains a turbulent bond with a teenage daughter who is just like her: loving, strong-willed and deeply opinionated."

A fun movie to see stars acting. There was a bunch of cameos. Besides that, horrible movie. Bad acting and a ridiculous concept. "Aspiring club promoters and best buddies Damon and Kevin are barely keeping things together. Out of money, down on their luck and about to lose the roofs over their heads, they need a huge windfall to make their problems go away. They soon decide to host the party of the year at an exclusive mansion, which just happens to belong to none other than NBA superstar LeBron James."

This was a slow moving drama written, directed, and stars Alex Wolf. The film portrays a teenager going through everyday life involving school, parties, etc. but also not fitting in with the crowd. The acting was phenomenal by Alex Wolf. Not a film for everyone, not usually my taste. "Whilst his mother seeks treatment in rehab, teenager Nick comes to New York to stay with Cal, a Jazz musician friend of his late father's; during his stay, he makes friends who show him what the city has to offer."

Really solid movie. It is listed as a horror but it was not scary at all. I really enjoyed the plot and the animations. The acting was hard to look past for half the cast. If you need a quick entertaining movie that is outside the box, this is an option. "M3GAN is a marvel of artificial intelligence, a lifelike doll that's programmed to be a child's greatest companion and a parent's greatest ally. Designed by Gemma, a brilliant roboticist, M3GAN can listen, watch and learn as it plays the role of friend and teacher, playmate and protector. When Gemma becomes the unexpected caretaker of her 8-year-old niece, she decides to give the girl an M3GAN prototype, a decision that leads to unimaginable consequences."

I am going to start by saying this movie is not for everyone. It is a Horror / Sci-fi that I found to be very unique. The acting was amazing and the plot was unheard of. However, I don't think other people will enjoy this film as much as I did. "Guided by a seductive and mysterious woman, a couple on vacation venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism and untold horror. A tragic accident soon leaves them facing a zero tolerance policy for crime: either you'll be executed, or, if you're rich enough to afford it, you can watch yourself die instead."
