I did not enjoy this film as much as critics but it was entertaining. It is a revenge movie that is very gory and violent. "During the last days of World War II, a solitary prospector crosses paths with Nazis on a scorched-earth retreat in northern Finland. When the soldiers decide to steal his gold, they quickly discover they just tangled with no ordinary miner."

I haven't watched a jennifer Lawrence it feels in a while. She did a great job in this role. It is a good summer movie for a lazy night. "On the brink of losing her childhood home, a desperate woman agrees to date a wealthy couple's introverted and awkward 19-year-old son. However, he proves to be more of a challenge than she expected, and time is running out before she loses it all."

I was surprised this film got a low critics and surprised that the audience gave it an 89%. This 2004 Denzel movie had a great plot, action, and thrills. "In a Mexico City wracked by a recent wave of kidnappings, ex-CIA operative John Creasy (Denzel Washington) reluctantly accepts a job as a bodyguard for 9-year-old Lupita (Dakota Fanning), the daughter of wealthy businessman Samuel Ramos (Marc Anthony). Just as Creasy begins to develop a fondness for the young girl, a bloodthirsty gunman (Jesús Ochoa) kidnaps her. Now, Creasy must pick off a succession of corrupt cops and criminals to reach his ultimate object of vengeance."

Classic Guardians of the galaxy film. Not as good as the 1st but still entertaining and better than the few marvel movies that have recently been garbage. "Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of their own. If the mission is not completely successful, it could possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them."

Lived up to the hype but a little too long. I would have liked 2 hours and 30 minutes vs a full 3 hour film. It was educational, dramatic, exciting, and eventful. The acting was through the roof just amazing and several actors known in the industry played a part even if it was a smaller role. Worth watching in theaters to get the full effects. "During World War II, Lt. Gen. Leslie Groves Jr. appoints physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer to work on the top-secret Manhattan Project. Oppenheimer and a team of scientists spend years developing and designing the atomic bomb. Their work comes to fruition on July 16, 1945, as they witness the world's first nuclear explosion, forever changing the course of history."

This movie was below average and there are better options if you are looking for action/drama. I had to pause it 70% through to leave my apartment and have not felt the need to finish it. "Following the death of King Edward, invaders and rival heirs do battle for the crown. Uthred and his comrades strive to form a united England."

I didn't know this was a second movie in this film series. Did not seem like you needed to watch the first in order to understand the second. Classic good horror movie if you are looking for one. "A reunion between two estranged sisters gets cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable."

Exhilarating Call of Duty like movie. Chris Hemsworth put on an action packed performance. Don't really need to see Extraction 1 in order to see this film but would useful. Only recommend if you want a John Wick type movie. "Back from the brink of death, commando Tyler Rake embarks on a dangerous mission to save a ruthless gangster's imprisoned family."

Living in an era post Blackberry, it was cool to see the tremendous rise and downfall of this phone and how it changed the landscape of the industry. An educational drama. "The company behind the first smartphone, the BlackBerry, meets a catastrophic demise."

While this film was inspiring to see an escape, it was traumatizing and not pleasant to watch. It was uncomfortable and suspenseful all throughout. "Kidnapped, assaulted and held captive for 18 hours, 15-year-old Kara Robinson plots a daring escape from a serial killer's apartment."

This movie won some awards and was listed as a top movie to watch for the past few weeks. I don't think its worth a watch and felt bored throughout most of it. "With the climate crisis at a dangerous point of no return, a group of brave environmental activists come up with a daring plan to make their voices heard and disrupt an oil pipeline."

I was feeling nauseous on the plane so I chose a film I hoped to distract myself. United had 8 movies available and I had already seen 5 of them. This movie was horrible. My reviews have bashed on the Rock and Kevin Hart's acting skills. I put Jennifer Lopez in the category just the female version. "Darcy and Tom gather their families for a destination wedding, but the ceremony gets put on hold when gunmen take everyone hostage. Now, they must do everything they can to save their loved ones -- if they don't wind up killing each other first."
