A more realistic horror film with a lot of potential. Was let down by the acting, and silly classic attributes you would expect in a horror film. They flopped making this. Hopefully, Chapter 2 is better. "After their car breaks down in an eerie small town, a young couple (Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez) are forced to spend the night in a remote cabin. Panic ensues as they are terrorized by three masked strangers who strike with no mercy and seemingly no motive in THE STRANGERS - CHAPTER 1, the chilling first entry of this upcoming horror feature film series."

The most classic Liam Neeson movie you will see. A found a bit slow and very average. Shouldnt be on your radar. "Hoping to leave his dark past behind him, former assassin Finbar Murphy leads a quiet life in a coastal Irish town, far from the political violence that grips the rest of the country. When menacing terrorists show up, Finbar soon discovers that one of them has been abusing a local girl. Drawn into an increasingly vicious game of cat and mouse, he must choose between exposing his secret identity and defending his friends and neighbors."

Amazing acting by Dakota Johnson. A storyline that is probably not something that you would have expected when the movie started. The main character not coming out until her 30s. It wasn't the best movie, but a good story and again the acting. Not the most entertaining film. "Lucy and Jane have been best friends for most of their lives and think they know everything there is to know about each other. But when Jane announces she`s moving to London, Lucy reveals a long held secret. As Jane tries to help Lucy, their friendship is thrown into chaos."

I rated this film higher than the average scores. I felt entertained but the movie lacked substance. I wish they went into more of the backgrounds of the characters and this could have been a hit. "When her father breaks out of prison, a young mother must confront her long-buried past of being the child of a kidnapper and the girl he held captive. Convinced that he intends to take her daughters, she sets out to find and kill him herself."

Not the storyline I was envisioning. I found it extremely boring. I love Adam Driver but this was not his top work. "During the summer of 1957, bankruptcy looms over the company that Enzo Ferrari and his wife had built 10 years earlier. He decides to roll the dice and wager it all on the iconic Mille Miglia, a treacherous 1000-mile race across Italy."

I really enjoyed the true story. Perfectly played by Dennis Quaid. An uplifting type of family film. Acting was par, story is great. "To save their cash-strapped orphanage, a guardian and his kids partner with a washed-up boat captain for a chance to win a lucrative fishing competition."

Good pop-outs and suspense, bad film. I liked the concept just not executed. "When twin brothers arrive home to find their mother's demeanour altered and her face covered in surgical bandages, they begin to suspect the woman beneath the gauze is not who she says she is."

I was waiting for more and was let down most of the film. The ending was decent but it had a lot of potential. Critics liked this movie a lot while the general public didnt. "Americans Hanna and Liv are backpacking in Australia and take a temporary live-in job in a remote Outback mining town. Soon, they find themselves trapped in an unnerving situation that grows rapidly out of their control."

I have come to realize I am not a fan of horror movies having to do a lot with faith and a church. This one is better than most, but a lot of the time I feel myself giving these types of films a rating of around 2 - 5. "A woman starts to question her own faith when she uncovers a terrifying conspiracy to bring about the birth of evil incarnate in Rome."

Steller acting performances from Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf. It was a little bit too depressing and slow paced for my liking but I appreciated the acting. "A heartbreaking home birth leaves a woman grappling with the profound emotional fallout, isolated from her partner and family by a chasm of grief."

This was a bizarre movie. A film that explores toxic abusive relationships through people, substance abuse and familial relationships starring Kristen Stewart, Ed Harris, and Katy O'Brian. It turned from a love story into a crime thriller. "Lou is a reclusive gym manager who falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder who's heading to Las Vegas to pursue her dream. Their love soon leads to violence as they get pulled deep into the web of Lou's criminal family."

I thought this was a good movie, nothing special. Glen Powell is making a name for himself. I was shocked to see the reviews so high for critics (97%) and audience (95%) on rotten tomatoes. I felt it is a fun movie to watch but not something to ever watch again or recommend if someone asked "what should I watch tonight?". "Professional killer Gary Johnson breaks protocol to help a desperate woman trying to flee an abusive husband and finds himself falling for her."
