As you can tell I'm catching up my drama films that have won some type of awards of the past years. An unbelievable performance by everyone in this cast. Again, these type of slow films aren't meant for most people that subscribe to me but if you are a fan or have any interest in the descirption its worth a watch. " A Korean American family moves to an Arkansas farm in search of its own American dream. Amidst the challenges of this new life in the strange and rugged Ozarks, they discover the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home."

Another drama, going back to back. This isn't a watch for most people either since its another slow emotional burner. I liked it a bit more than Beautiful Boy and the acting was superb. It was an emotional and sad film. I really liked how it was filmed, it was almost three different storylines connected to one plot. " The epic emotional journey of a suburban African American family as they navigate love, forgiveness and coming together in the wake of a tragic loss."

An emotional drama th at I missed out that won a bunch of awards. Steve Carell and Timothee Chalemet both gave great performances. It's a slow burn but well made film. Not meant for everyone. " Teenager Nicolas Sheff seems to have it all with good grades and being an actor, artist, athlete and editor of the school newspaper. When Nic's addiction to meth threatens to destroy him, his father does whatever he can to save his son and family."

I think I like this film more than most. It was also very disturbing so be aware. I think Zoe Kravitz was onto something big with this film but it didn't pan out the way I wanted. I thought the beginning was really hard to get through but the ending was elite. The plot/story was there, just didn't meet expectations of what I read online before watching. Wild nights soon blend into sun-soaked days, but when strange things start to happen, Frida must uncover the truth if she hopes to make it out alive. "

This was a very good movie just not meant for everyone. It is really slow but the acting felt like I was watching a real story rather than actors playing a role. It is half in Japanese as well. I do want t o callout to do some research on it because knowing my audience that follows me, this isn't a right watch for other people. " A man embarks on an emotional journey to find his first love, who disappeared 50 years ago, before his time runs out."

Nothing fancy. I think with better actors this could have been a great movie. I think the plot could have been executed a lot better as well. Entertaining enough to throw on your radar . " A woman wakes up in a police interrogation room with no memory of the night prior. Something does not seem quite right in this police station."

This is the third movie of the series after Pearl and X . Mia Goth gave another great performance. They aren't my favorite films but im al ways interested in her story as the character develops. All three are a decent watch. " In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. However, as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Los Angeles, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past."

I wish I understood what happened more in this film. It was pretty confusing and disturbing. The acting was great featuring Jesse Plemons, Emma Stone, and William Defoe to name a few. There were three different plots which were all random stories. " Three stories revolve around a man who tries to take control of his own life, a policeman whose wife seems like a different person, and a woman who searches for someone with a special ability."

A respectable action film starring two underrated actors in Nathalie Emmanuel and Omar Sy. Probably not on the top of your watchlist but if you want a classic rogue agent / trained assassin film this was entertaining. " When a feared contract killer refuses to murder a young blind woman on the orders of her handler, she finds herself hunted by old colleagues and a determined detective."

I didn't love this film as much as critics. I liked the plot a lot, and I was locked in wanting to figure out the mystery. The ending was up to interpretation and left some thoughts where I had to read a little bit about it. The back half of the movie was much better than the beginning. If you are a horror fan it's worth watching. " FBI Agent Lee Harker is assigned to an unsolved serial killer case that takes an unexpected turn, revealing evidence of the occult. Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he strikes again."

Not a movie you will remember a year from now but entertaining if you need something to watch. I can't get behind Glenn Powell playing the same character in every movie he is in. He plays a guy that gets portrayed as a handsome, know it all, kind of jerk but really he is sweet and down to earth. He's been this character for Twisters, Anyone but You, Hit Man and Set It Up .
